Battling
Battle is where you fight mobs and earn gold, battle XP, and rare drops. ## Getting started 1. Open **Battle** from the main navigation. 2. Choose a **mob level**. 3. Press **Start** to begin battling. 4. While battle is running, actions resolve automatically (see **Actions & Fatigue**). 5. Press **Stop** when you want to end the session. You need to **win** an encounter to earn rewards for that action. Losses do not pay out. ## Combat stats Your character has **Strength**, **Speed**, **Defence**, **Accuracy**, **Dodge**, and **HP**. Stats come from your base character, **equipment**, **platinum boosts**, **personal augments**, **Battle Power**, and **battle level** (Strength and Defence). Click a stat in the header bar to see how your total is built. Each battle action runs one full encounter: you and the mob fight until one side reaches **0 HP**. You must win to earn rewards for that action. ### What each stat does - **Strength** — Damage on each hit that connects. Enemy **Defence** subtracts from your strength; if defence almost fully blocks you, a **glancing blow** still deals about **10%** of your strength instead of almost nothing. - **Speed** — Extra **player** attacks each round. You always get at least one strike per round, plus one more for every **1,000** speed (2,000 speed → 3 strikes, and so on). The mob still gets one attack phase per round. - **Defence** — Reduces damage taken on each hit that lands on you, using the same strength-minus-defence formula. - **Accuracy** — How often your attacks connect. Each strike rolls hit chance from your accuracy vs the target's dodge. Hit chance is never below **5%** or above **95%** — extra accuracy helps, but cannot guarantee every swing. - **Dodge** — Makes enemies miss more often. Higher dodge lowers their hit chance, and some of their failed rolls count as **dodges** rather than ordinary misses. - **HP** (Health) — How much damage you can take before you lose the encounter. Max HP comes from your char
