Harvest Drones

**Harvest drones** passively gather one harvesting skill’s resource without spending actions. ## How drones work 1. Open **Character → Drones**, or any harvesting page (**Xeno Tracking**, **Excavation**, **Core Mining**, or **Xenobotany**). 2. Choose a harvest type and a run length of **1**, **6**, or **12 hours**, then deploy the drone. 3. When the timer ends, **Dock** (from the Drones page or that resource page) to collect the haul. 4. You can **Cancel** an in-flight drone early — you forfeit the haul. Once it has returned, dock it instead. You have one free drone slot. With **Second Drone** (40 credits/month) or an active **QOL** subscription you also get a second slot (shown on the Drones page). Without access the second slot appears locked with a purchase option. **Second Drone** unlocks the second slot as a **manual** drone — same yield rules as slot 1, with **6 or 12 hour** runs only. **QOL Auto Drone** adds auto-claim and redeploy on that second slot. Send it once to choose a resource and run length (6 or 12 hours) and arm automation (when enabled in Settings); cancelling pauses auto until you send again. If a second-slot drone returns after your access has ended, the haul stays **pending** until you renew — you cannot dock/claim it without access. You cannot deploy a drone on a skill you are actively harvesting, and you cannot actively harvest the same skill while a drone is out on it. You **can** actively harvest a different skill (or battle) while a drone runs. Drones do **not** consume actions and do **not** grant skill XP. ## Yields Drone resource, component, and **stat drop** rates are **50%** of active harvesting for that skill. Your **skill level** and **harvest tool** (level and tier) still apply — upgrading tools and leveling the skill both improve drone hauls.
