Chat

Chat is used to talk with other players and run commands. ## Channels Tabs in the chat box include: - **Notifications** — in-game alerts (mentions, quest ready, augment complete, low actions) - **General** — server-wide chat - **Trade** — buying, selling, and trading with other players - **Recruit** — finding a clan or recruiting members - **Clan** — clan members only (requires a clan) - **Admins** — staff only (admins and moderators) - **Whisper tabs** — private conversations (one tab per player) ## Commands and formatting | Input | Effect | |-------|--------| | `@name` | Mention another player | | `:emote:` | Send an emote (if available) | | `/me {action}` | Roleplay action message | | `/w {name} {message}` | Whisper a player | | `/ignore {player name}` | Ignore a player (hides their chat, blocks their whispers) | | `/unignore {player name}` | Stop ignoring a player | | `/wire {player} {amount} {resource}` | Wire an amount of a resource (see **Wire Transfers**) | Staff may have additional moderation commands not listed here. ## Settings Under **Settings** → **Chat settings** you can: - Pin chat to the bottom of the screen or show it inline on each page - Set how many chat lines show when inline - Show newest messages at the top (with the input above the list), or keep the classic bottom-up layout - Equip a **title** and manage **ignored players** ## Related pages - [**Titles**](https://www.idlegalaxia.com/help/titles) - [**Wire Transfers**](https://www.idlegalaxia.com/help/wire-transfers) - [**Clans Overview**](https://www.idlegalaxia.com/help/clans-overview)
